Words of wisdom
1. Communication is always key. Sit down as a team at least once a week, even for half an hour. Talk about how things are going, and get any little frustrations (and successes!) out in the air. Take care of it as it happens so it doesn't fester. And stay on the same page with assignments and tasks! It's a win/win.
2. Meet every checkpoint. No excuses, no compromises. Work as hard as you need to do make every checkpoint well (don't just hack it to get close enough for the TA to give you a skeptical okay) and you'll be fine.
3. Have fun with it. If a teammate wants to do something a little crazy, go for it (as long as it doesn't conflict with rules 1 or 2). Wear funny t-shirts. Pick a ridiculous theme. Enjoy the ride.
